STEPUPIORS radiation oncologists Mladen Marinkovic and Suzana Stojanovic-Rundic coauthored the book “Clinical Oncology with Radiotherapy” advancing oncology education in Serbia. The book is designed to support medical students and young healthcare professionals, offering a comprehensive and practical overview of clinical oncology. This is an excellent example how science, education and clinical practice contribute to building long-term foundations and a deeper understanding of cancer care.

STEPUPIORS at EACR2025 Congress

The STEPUPIORS team participated at the annual conference organized by European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) “Innovative Cancer Science” held in Lisbon, Portugal, on June 16-19, 2025. The congress was attended by more than 2,800 participants from 85 countries.
At the EACR2025 congress Ana Vuletić presented project abstract “Novel 1-benzhydryl piperazine scaffoldbased HDAC inhibitor b7 induces synergistic antiproliferative effect with vemurafenib in colorectal cancer cells harboring BRAF mutation“ at Cancer Cell Biology poster session. Snežana Bjelogrlić presented the study „SWOT Analysis for Maintaining the Sustainability of Newly Established Rectal Cancer Biobank at the Institute for Oncology and Radiology of Serbia“  during the poster session Prevention and Early Detection.
