On March 25, the IORS hosted an Open Day focused on colorectal cancer. The event aimed to raise awareness, support affected individuals, and emphasize the importance of prevention and early detection. It featured oncology experts, medical professionals, representatives from patient associations, and a genetic counselling team. Attendees heard a patient’s experience with treatment and genetic testing for hereditary syndromes, while discussions covered prevention, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of colorectal cancer.
